It is my pleasure to welcome you to this official platform of Ghana’s resident diplomatic presence in Mauritius, which gives an encapsulation of the Consulate-General’s business.
Ghana is, indeed, a gateway to Africa, being a member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), headquarters for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and located on the west coast of Africa, Ghana is strategically position for trading activities between the country and the outside world.
Ghana’s wealth of resources, democratic political system and dynamic economy, makes it undoubtedly one of Africa’s leading lights. Gaining the world’s confidence with peaceful political transitions and grounded and firm commitment to democracy has helped in expediting Ghana’s growth in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in recent years.
Ghana has attracted the attention of a lot of well-known international businesses, investing in all sectors of its economy.

Our Sections
POLITICAL
This Section deal with political relations between Ghana and Mauritius.
DIASPORA AFFAIRS
This Section handles all the Ghanaian diasporan issues in Mauritius and also liaises with the Diaspora Desk at the Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
ECONOMIC AND TRADE
This section handles economic relations between Ghana and Mauritius at both the public and private levels. It is also deals with trade issues between the two countries.
CONSULAR SECTION
This section handles all welfare issues of Ghanaians in Mauritius and liaises with relevant Mauritian institutions to ensure the well-being of Ghanaians. It also issues travel documents.
ACCOUNTS SECTION
This section deals with accounts of the Mission.
